I preordered standard edition of GW before april BWE. I created account on standard version key and played it over BWE.

After i heard about Collectors Edition benefits I decided to sell my standard version and buy CE.

Here is the question: Is it possible to add CE key to account that has been created with preorder key from standard edition? I want to keep my lvl9 character, I played yesterday (27th-apr).

Will my friend (that will buy std edition from me) get special item if he will start account with retail cdkey only, or is the special item "bound" to BWE cdkey and when you start an account with retail key only it's recognized as non-preorder key and it don't give you special item?

I hope that someone will understand it, my english is no good

I think you can just make a new account using your collectors editionkey. You might loose your preorder items though if you used preorders.

Most likely your friend will get them if you just let him use your account.
